• "Les Arcs has an extraordinary history for a Group 1 6f winner, for his first win was over 10f at Ripon at three when it was suggested he would stay further, he was sunsequently tried over hurdles once at Cartmel when he was pulled up but showed enough aptitude to hold second briefly three out. He started 2005 rated just 74, although he improved significantly in the summer and turned six with a rating of 96, following a good win on the all weather in December on his debut for his new trainer.
