Welcome

Firstly may we welcome you to this website. Tim Pitt is a racehorse trainer based at Frankland Lodge Stables which is situated on the historic Hamilton Road in Newmarket - the headquarters of British horse racing. Tim holds a dual purpose licence for both flat and jumps horses and has had plenty of success under both codes.

The website is updated on a regular basis by our internet guru David Croft, whilst Tim pens the blog as regularly as his time allows. We hope it will give you an insight into who we are and what we are trying to achieve here at Frankland Lodge.

We have an impressive training record to date having produced winners in some of the most prestigious races in Britain. We have a pair of Group 1 victories courtesy of the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Darley July Cup at Newmarket, with the valuable heritage handicap The Chester Cup also on the roll of honour. These victories are combined with a good winners to runners ratio and a high strike rate of horses finishing in the first four to put some of the so called bigger yards to shame.

This success would not be possible without the dedicated staff and back up team which Tim can rely on daily to provide the best care for every individual - both human and equine.

Please take time to browse the site at your leisure. If you are an owner or just an avid racing fan there are various different pages providing a lot of information and all the latest news from both the yard and the racecourse. If you are an existing owner or considering taking the plunge in to racehorse ownership please don't hesitate to contact us.

Below is a short video courtesty of Jockey Club Estates highliting why Newmarket is the headquarters of flat racing and what we can offer the racehorse and their owners.
